Sylwia is a certified teacher of Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction courses (she received a certificate from the Institute for Mindfulness-Based Appraches/Polski Instytut Mindfulness), Mindfulness-based Compassionate Living (she completed the first teacher training in Poland, which was delivered by the creators of the programme: Eric van den Brink and Frits Koster).

For the past 20 years she has practised yoga and work on her body, and she is also a hatha-yoga instructor using the BKS Iyengara method, Introductory II level.

She also holds the following certificates: Erickson International Coach, certified business trainer by the MATRIK Management Trainers and Consultants school – methodology based on the international standards of the NVQ International Trainers Certification in Training, Learning and Development – MATRIK & Pearson Edexcel International.

In 2021, she was the Chairwoman of the Polski Instytut Mindfulness Foundation; before then she was its Board Member. She coordinates cooperation and teaches at the Teachers’ College of MBSR TT in Poland. She is also a Supervisor of MBI: TAC (Mindfulness-Based Interventions: Teaching Assessment Criteria).

Sylwia is a specialist administrator and post-graduate lecturer at the University of Lodz, and a Supervisor and CoachingSteps™ Mentor Coach at the Centre for Competence Development, University of Lodz. In 2015–2017 she was the director of the Łódź branch of Izba Coachingu (Chamber of Coaching) and of the PROGRESSteron Festival in Łódź.

She manages the HOLI Body&Mind Center, which focusses on work on the body and on mindful meditation. She is the co-author of the best-selling book Coaching. Zbiór narzędzi wspierania rozwoju (Wolters Kluwer Polska – ABC, 2012).

Sylwia has 15 years of experience in delivering training sessions and guiding individual clients. She has been conducting training sessions in stress reduction, mindfulness, and meditation since 2008, and since 2015 in the form of fully certified MBSR courses.
